Had a wind storm and the unit stood up to it with no anchors. I was pleasently surprised. The only bad thing and a major problem is the canopy is not waterproofed and it leaks in rain. Very dissapointed for this is one of the reasons I purchased this for the weather conditions. Also found this on sale at another store for half the price I paid. I e-mailed the company aboout my displeasures of the leaking and the price and never got any response.

Doesn't last, February 21, 2011 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: DC America LQGO19323MBR-BB 10-Foot by 10-Foot Three Tier Gazebo with Insect Screen, Dark Bronze, with Beige Polyester Top (Lawn & Patio) Though it looked good and the frame is still standing, the fabric became like paper over the course of one summer. Water pooled in the three tiers, as described by another reviewer. It didn't come with the required number of plastic holders for the net loops and the company was unresponsive when I called for assistance. The loops holding up the netting ripped when being slid across the top. When we took it down for the winter, the fabric ripped in several places and had to be discarded. I just looked up the model to see about re-ordering the canvas - figuring I'll have to buy it seasonally and see that it costs $149 for the top alone or $199 for the top and nets. That's crazy! I'll replace with a generic canopy.

When it rained puddles would form in the sagging fabric on top and drip through. I had secured the gazebo with the stakes provided. The $300 I spent is a huge loss after using it only a couple months. I think the metal construction, the spikes and the fabric are of poor quality.
